Brain Disorders 2026: International Live Conference on Brain Disorders

Understanding the complexity of the human brain requires continuous collaboration among scientists, clinicians, and researchers across the world. Brain Disorders 2026, organized by OLCIAS (One Live Conference for International Association & Societies), brings together international experts to present emerging discoveries and innovative approaches in neurological science.

This international live conference will feature distinguished speakers from Algeria, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, and India who will share their latest research in areas including pediatric neurosurgery, metabolomics, Parkinson’s disease biology, neurometabolism, epilepsy treatment, and neurolinguistics.

The conference aims to promote scientific dialogue, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and highlight innovative approaches that can contribute to better understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders.

Welcome address and introduction to the conference objectives and structure.

8:10 PM – 8:40 PM

Infantile Hydrocephalus as a Pediatric Brain Disorder: Endoscopic Management with Ventriculocisternostomy and Choroid Plexus Coagulation

Speakers:

Dr. Habchi Nawel

Pr. Sidi Maamar Mohamed Amokrane

Dr. Aimen Badis

Affiliation: Neurosurgery Department, Frantz Fanon University Hospital Center – Blida, Algeria

This session presents a prospective study evaluating endoscopic management techniques in infantile hydrocephalus. The research highlights improved neurological outcomes and reduced shunt dependency through ventriculocisternostomy combined with choroid plexus coagulation.

8:40 PM – 9:10 PM

Biofluid Metabolomic Profiling in CNS Immune-Related Disorders Using ¹H-NMR Spectroscopy

Speaker: Dr. Pinar Sengul

Affiliation: Acibadem University, Istanbul, Turkey

This presentation explores serum and cerebrospinal fluid metabolomic variability using proton NMR spectroscopy. The findings demonstrate the potential of metabolomics in biomarker discovery for immune-related neurological disorders.

9:10 PM – 9:40 PM

Biology of Parkinsonism to Enhance Lifespan of Mitochondria in Parkinson’s Patients

Speaker: Dr. Al-Baraa Akram

Affiliation: Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom

The presentation discusses mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular stress signaling, and the role of HtrA2 pathways in Parkinson’s disease progression, highlighting potential biological strategies for improving mitochondrial longevity.

9:40 PM – 10:10 PM

Neurometabolic Trends of Aging in the C57BL/6 Mouse Hippocampus Using ¹H Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy

Speaker: Adriana King

Affiliation: Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, Columbia University, USA

This research investigates neurometabolic baselines associated with normal hippocampal aging and identifies metabolite ratio changes linked to glutamatergic metabolism.

10:10 PM – 10:40 PM

Novel Treatment for Epilepsy

Speakers:

Ms. Praisy P

Ms. Aleena Mary Benny

Ms. Shabana S

Affiliation: Bhavani College of Nursing, Erode, India

This session highlights innovative therapeutic strategies including precision neuromodulation, gene therapy, optogenetics, stem cell therapy, focused ultrasound neuromodulation, and microbiome-based interventions for epilepsy management.

10:40 PM – 11:20 PM

An Overview of Aphasia from a Neurolinguistic Perspective

Speaker: Yunus Emre Vural

Affiliation: Master’s Graduate, University of Siena

Location: Istanbul, Turkey

This presentation explores aphasia through a neurolinguistic framework, covering major subtypes such as Broca’s aphasia, Wernicke’s aphasia, global aphasia, and conduction aphasia. The talk examines language production, comprehension, repetition patterns, lesion localization, and implications for evidence-based rehabilitation.

Keywords: Neurolinguistics, Aphasia, Language Production, Language Comprehension, Repetition

Closing Remarks

11:20 PM IST

Closing remarks and open discussion summarizing key scientific insights presented during Brain Disorders 2026.
