Detailed Scientific Program:
Meet & Greet Session
Time: 8:00 PM – 8:10 PM IST
Welcome address and introduction to the International Live Conference on Brain Disorders 2026, outlining conference objectives and participant engagement guidelines.
Opening Scientific Session
Time: 8:10 PM – 8:40 PM IST
Infantile Hydrocephalus as a Pediatric Brain Disorder: Endoscopic Management with Ventriculocisternostomy and Choroid Plexus Coagulation
Speakers: Dr. Habchi Nawel, Pr. Sidi Maamar Mohamed Amokrane, Dr. Aimen Badis
Affiliation: Neurosurgery Department, Frantz Fanon University Hospital Center – Blida, Algeria
Session Type: Opening Talk
Abstract: Infantile hydrocephalus represents a significant pediatric neurological disorder characterized by abnormal cerebrospinal fluid accumulation leading to intracranial hypertension and developmental impairment. This prospective study evaluated neuroendoscopic techniques including ventriculocisternostomy alone and combined ventriculocisternostomy with choroid plexus coagulation in infants under one year of age. Results demonstrated improved neurological outcomes and reduced shunt dependency, particularly in infants older than three months, supporting combined endoscopic intervention as an effective treatment strategy.
Scientific Session II
Time: 8:40 PM – 9:10 PM IST
Biofluid Metabolomic Profiling in CNS Immune-Related Disorders Using ¹H-NMR Spectroscopy
Speaker: Dr. Pinar Sengul Affiliation: Acibadem University, Istanbul
Abstract: This study investigates metabolic signatures associated with central nervous system immune activity using proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Combined serum and cerebrospinal fluid metabolomic profiling revealed structured variability associated with immune-related neurological conditions, supporting biofluid metabolomics as a complementary biomarker discovery approach.
Scientific Session III
Time: 9:10 PM – 9:40 PM IST
Biology of Parkinsonism to Enhance Lifespan of Mitochondria in Parkinson’s Patients
Speaker: Dr. Al-Baraa Akram
Authors: Prof. Boudjeloud Yasmina, Dr. Bouzourene Kahina, Pr. Tliba Souhil
Affiliation: Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom
Abstract: The presentation explores mitochondrial dysfunction as a major pathogenic mechanism underlying Parkinson’s disease, focusing on stress signaling pathways involving HtrA2 and CHOP gene activation contributing to mitochondrial quality control mechanisms.
Scientific Session IV
Time: 9:40 PM – 10:10 PM IST
Neurometabolic Trends of Aging in the C57BL/6 Mouse Hippocampus Using ¹H Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy
Speaker: Adriana King
Affiliation: Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, Columbia University, New York, USA
Abstract: This research establishes neurometabolic baselines for normal hippocampal aging using magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Significant metabolite ratio changes associated with glutamatergic metabolism were identified, supporting translational understanding of neurodegenerative processes.
Scientific Session V
Time: 10:10 PM – 10:40 PM IST
Novel Treatment for Epilepsy
Speakers: Ms. Praisy P, Ms. Aleena Mary Benny, Ms. Shabana S
Affiliation: Bhavani College of Nursing, Erode, India
Abstract: This presentation discusses emerging personalized therapeutic approaches for epilepsy including precision neuromodulation therapy, gene therapy, optogenetics, neuroinflammation modulation, stem cell therapy, focused ultrasound neuromodulation, and microbiome-based interventions aimed at improving seizure control and long-term neurological outcomes.
Scientific Session VI
Time: 10:40 PM – 11:20 PM IST
An Overview of Aphasia from a Neurolinguistic Perspective
Speaker: Yunus Emre Vural Affiliation: Master’s Graduate, University of Siena, Istanbul, Turkey
Abstract: This presentation explores aphasia from a neurolinguistic perspective, covering major subtypes including Broca’s, Wernicke’s, global, and conduction aphasia. The session addresses cognitive-behavioral profiles in language production, comprehension, repetition, lesion localization, and implications for evidence-based rehabilitation through interdisciplinary collaboration.
11:20 PM IST
