Volume: Drug Discovery 2023_CN31_AA03 Abstract: Drug discovery is a complex and time-consuming process that involves identifying, designing, and developing new drugs. Machine learning has emerged as a powerful tool in drug discovery, allowing researchers to analyze vast amounts of data and identify potential drug candidates more efficiently. In this review, we provide an overview of the application of machine learning in drug discovery, including the use of deep learning, reinforcement learning, and other techniques. We also discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with using machine learning in drug discovery and highlight some recent success stories in the field. Overall, we conclude that machine learning has the potential to revolutionize drug discovery by accelerating the identification of new drug candidates and improving the efficiency of the drug development process.
Biography:
Jinsad Sakkeer was born on June 1st, 1998, in an Indian town. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Vinayaka Mission Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Computer Science from Anna University, where he is honing his knowledge and expertise in the field.
