Abstract

This talk intends to examine how virtual reality (VR) technology intersects with its potential to treat autism spectrum disorder (ASD). A group of neurological diseases known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are characterized by difficulties in social interaction, communication, and limited or repetitive activities. The various autism spectrum diseases will be briefly discussed in this session. A unique and promising method for treating ASDs is the use of virtual reality. VR can help with numerous elements of ASD therapy, including social skills training, communication enhancement, and sensory integration, by providing immersive and regulated situations. The presentation also aims to create a general knowledge about the subject by compiling the virtual reality-based autism rehabilitation studies that have been done so far.
