The elevated oxygen levels in the CNS do not come from the atmosphere, but from the CSF.

Abstract:

Since oxygen in the atmosphere was characterized in the mid-eighteenth century, it was also found to be relatively little. In the nineteenth century, when the study of the biochemistry of the human body began to deepen, it was found that our body contains almost five times more oxygen than the atmosphere.

There has been a controversy since then because the biology of the lung does not explain the high levels of oxygen in the blood, much less in the CNS. The careful study of lung tissues only explains the efficient management of CO2 . It is even thought that gas exchange only happens in relation to CO2 . But atmospheric oxygen does not seem to penetrate even in minute amounts through the alveolar walls.

Then the controversy continued, but circumstantially we found the answer during an observational, descriptive study about the blood vessels that enter and leave the optic nerve and their possible correlation with the three main causes of blindness that are the same worldwide. This study included ophthalmological examinations (photographs) of 6000 patients and lasted 12 years (1990-2002).

And the results were surprising: Our body has molecules capable of taking or extracting oxygen from the water it contains inside, such as plants. The responsible chemical reaction is exact, astonishingly exact and has not changed since the beginning of time. But it becomes disturbed or unbalanced in the presence of polluted water, polluted air, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, metals, plastics, solvents, industrial waste, soda additives, fast food, alcohol, temperature extremes, etc. And when this fundamental reaction of life is unhinged, the whole body tends to become disorganized and that is when diseases appear. Any disease begins when our body cannot properly take in or extract oxygen from the water it contains. The name of the disease does not matter since the body ignores it.

The diseases that afflict the CNS are no exception. Any CNS disease, no matter what it's called, starts the same way: when CNS cells can't properly extract oxygen from the water inside, in this case, CSF.


Biography:

Dr. Solís Herrera is a specialist in ophthalmology, with training in Neuro ophthalmology, Master in Medical Sciences and Doctor in Pharmacology. As a result of his research, he founded the Center for the Study of Human Photosynthesis, S.C., in Aguascalientes, Mexico in 2008, and directs it to date.
